Horses4Heroes believes in introducing children to horses and farm animals as young as possible.
While not all of our centers are equipped to work with toddlers and preschoolers, we have devised programs that are currently implemented at our HQ in Las Vegas. Contact the center near you regarding programs, age limits, fitness guidelines and more.
HorsePlay, tailored for our youngest riders, ages 2 to 6, offers an introduction to horses and farm animals, with an emphasis on safety, hand/eye coordination, good listening skills, respecting others, building self confidence, communication skills (verbal vs. nonverbal), and age-appropriate horseback riding instruction. Weekly HorsePlay sessions are two hours and include playtime in the barnyard, activities with miniature horses and a 15-minute instructional session with one of our horses.
HorsePlay sessions take place at the Horses4Heroes Community Equestrian Center in beautiful, historic Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs located in northwest Las Vegas. Weekly sessions are $30 per family for non-members and $20 per family for members. To register for a class at the Horses4Heroes Community Equestrian Center, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
