Mission & Vision
Our mission is to make horseback riding affordable for, and accessible to, our service members, veterans, survivors, First Responders and their immediate families, as well as other heroes in our communities including, but not limited to, nurses, special needs teachers, and others who service and sacrifice keep us safe and free.
Our four core values emphasize Responsibility, Independence, Dedication, and Empathy.
Working with and caring for horses teaches many important life skills and reinforces these core values that horses build character and will guide our youth to become empathetic, empowered adults who will make responsible choices throughout their lives.
Most important we believe that horses teach self-sufficiency, self-reliance, self-confidence, they boost your overall self-esteem and, convince yourself and others that YES, YOU CAN!
Heroes come in all sizes and Horses4Heroes, a non-profit corporation, serves them all, every day, with affordable recreational, instructional and morale-boosting health & wellness programs at more than 200 able-bodied and therapeutic equestrian centers throughout the country.
