Families serve, and suffer, too.  Whether coping with frequent deployments, an injured spouse or trying to make sense of Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), the invisible wounds of war, our programs use horses to help families reconnect and get reacquainted.  Recently, our HQ has received requests from family members trying to cope with suicide.  We often hear that family members don’t want to see a therapist, they want to be part of activities that will help them grieve and work through their loss.  Horses have big shoulders to cry on and big ears for listening.  Programs are offered for all ages.
